replaced the water pump and lower radiator hose and now the car wont start

Crank but no start ?
If engine had overheated do a compression test and check timing
check for spark ,check for fuel
Recheck wiring by the crank pulley
check fuses
no crank check if an alarm was activated due to the disconnecting the battery
