Just had the computer flashed and replaced by a dealer. The truck (360cid) seems to be running very rich (black sooty exhaust strong fuel odor and poor mileage). I pulled 6 codes. P0171 to lean on bank 1 P0300 random misfire P0304 cylinder 4misfire P0306 cyl 6 misfire P0307 cylinder 7 misfire P0308 cylinder 8 misfire. It has a some what ruff idle but runs down the road fine. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hello,

Those multiple cylinder misfire could simply be due to having weak or corroded spark plugs.
First inspect the spark plugs for wear and gap. The plugs should be gapped at 0.035 inch.

I have attached the spark inspection guide for your reference (look below).

Also included the troubleshooting guide for the multiple cylinder misfire code.
This can help you pinpoint the issue.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
