1998 Dodge Neon loses power and shuts off either when I'm driving or at a stop light. Had 4 sparks replaced, battery/battery terminals replaced, new relay, and crank/engine sensors replaced. Still having the same problem. Help?

Is your check engine light on?

Yes, it has been on for a while, even before I had the problem of the car shutting off. Had the car checked out by 3 different mechanics (all ran the computer system check), and the only thing they told me is that the gas cap is in-taking too much air and to replace the cap, and that should fix the problem of the "service engine" light coming on.

Also, I added fuel injection and switched to the highest octane grade, but I'm still having problems. Could it be a fuel pump issue??

Have fuel pressure checked with mechanical gauge, you may be losing pressure or pump is shutting off.
