What is wrong 98 chevy 4.3l vortec she will start with priming but wont start otherwise i replaced the fuel pump with a new one still same engine not getting any gas?

Is it a TBI or CPI fuel system? -check and test the oil pressure sending unit and fuel pressure check-

found the problem lmao!!!!!!!!!!!
would you believe the braided ground wire that goes from bell housing/engine block bolt to the chassis was broken !!i twisted both ends together and she fired right up.replaced it after with another ground and alls well
