Chevrolet Truck Code scanner Problem
My 5.7 vortec cuts out early in each gear at top of range it smoothes out replaceded plugs wires rotor cap,i am just learning about DRIVEABILITY, what could it be do i need to buy a code scanner for this and future hick-ups?

The first thing I would do is have it scanned for codes and let me know that exact code numbers not code descriptions? That's where I would start you could also check fuel pressure?
