temp gauge goes from cold to hot when only driving one mile i changed the thermostat, temp sensor twice, switched out the cluster gauge and nothing, i purged the air out after the thermostat change i am a lost for words

make sure it is overheating first. are the fans coming on? you may have a bad connection or shorted wire likely cause for that.it's a dark grenwire going to sender. what engine?
