Ok I ran the car out of gas put in three bucks and started right up, went about half a mile and died. Put in three more bucks started right up and went about a mile and a half turned it off and put in half a tank started right up went two blocks died again. It was starting and after a few seconds die again until I took out the relay and put it back. Then the battery went dead and now when I jump it it turns over but won't start. Please help me.

Also about a week ago I was pulling into a gas station had about an eighth of a tank of gas and the car just died on me. After about an hour it started back up but when I shut the hood it died then started right back up again.

The only thing I did was pull the relay and put it back in. When you turn the key to acc you can hear the fuel pump come on and run s few seconds and then shut off. When you move the little lever that is attached to the gas pedal you can see that there is gas coming from the line. I do not know how to check the pressure.

you can rent a pressure gauge at a parts store and it will contain instructions to hook it up
