1998 Chevrolet Cheyenne Repair Question

Chevrolet Cheyenne Flywheel Problem
When I installed my 3rd starter it keeps tearing up flywheel, what can I do to fix problem? It sounds like gers on flywheel and starter are grinding a loud noise.

when you put the starter in there shold have been shim with it and it would tell you how to install them. i fyou don't have one go to auto parts store and get one. if it keeps up you'll need to replace flywheel as well.
