Hi I decided to degrease my motor today. It was 48 degrees today. So I sprayed it on the motor and the valve covers. I waited and then hosed it off. I started the car and now it smokes. I used gunk heavy duty engine degreaser. I sprayed it very well and then started it. I am guessing the grease got on the heads and it is causing it to smoke. What do you think.

Yep, I agree. Let it run for a while to burn it off

Yeah I did today. It took about 30 minutes then it quit. Their was a lot of grease on the motor so it did good then I used a pressure washer on it today so it came a lot cleaner. Their is very little grease now. I just did it because I am almost positive that the valve covers are leaking. They have never been changed so I have the new ones now. I will most likely do it tomorrow. Thanks for all the help.
