Chevrolet Blazer Starter Problem
Chiped block at starter bolt . can this be welded

the right way of repairing it is to put the block in an oven to reach 500+ degrees, then weld the parts and let them cool.
obviously, this is not possible on the car. it can be welded but it will not last with the pressure it will be enduring
