Remove the sparkplug no.1 put your long index finger or use a compression gauge over the hole and have helper crank engine over in burst-till you feel pressure then stop-look at the crankshaft pulley mark-turn the pulley till the markings are line up TDC/0 degs, timng scale and pulley-
