When I put the key in and turn the ignition the key won't turn over the ignition, it seems like its locked.

Is the steering lock engaged? You key could be worn out or your ignition cylinder might be bad. Are you saying the key won't turn all the way to crank? Set the parking brake and block the wheels if needed, can you shift it into neutral, then try to crank it?
