Transmission leak

Forklift at work leaks transmission fluid into the differential fluid. Is this a major problem?

I'm not a forklift specialist, but I would say the two have to come apart and there must be a seal leaking between them. As far as a major problem, if the differential has Gear Lube in it, I would say yes it is a major problem. The trans fluid is most likely a different type of oil.
