Toyota Tercel Ignition lock Problem
My key broke inside the ignition lock, about 1/3 of the key. I tried placing the remaining piece of the key to see if it would still work but it did not.
I hired a lock smith to extract the broken piece but was unsuccessful. He advised that I replace the ignition lock with a new one. I removed panels and located the pin that must be pressed down in order to remove the ignition lock. However, the lock must be on Accessories in order to press down on the pin and there is no way I can turn the lock to Accessories. How can I remove the ignition lock?
