Moter oil leaking from bottom pan and engine ideling rough?

1 week ago put in oil stop leak additive. Now engine started ideling rough, noise like a belt squeeling, low on oil, check engine light on, --added 2 quartes. Drove 2 miles back home. Smell oil burning on manafoil, leaking oil from corner of oil pan. Tring not to do any damage to engine, don't know if pump for oil has stopped?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if its normal or abnormal-you're leaking oil when this happens you'll have a low oil pressure-Scan the computer for code/s -you need to fix the leak-dried up cylinders will scuffed rings/pistons/cylinder and will cause the engine compression to be low-imbalances

Thanks for the advise. You mention mechanic oil pressure gauge-- scan for codes, is this something I should have done at a garage, or can I do it? Novice!

Bring her in to a reputable shop for diagnosis this is beyond you-there's other things involved other then the leaky oil pan-
