1997 Toyota Camry Repair Question

Toyota Camry Wiring Problem

Ok i had some wires short out on the EGR tube only three of the wires burnt though. Hookup code reader code that came up
P3040 now i have replaced the camshaft sensor,starter, PMC,
and the wireing harness from the pmc to the starter and the check engine lite still wont go out so i can not smog the car
help.

did you repair all wiring?? did you check the other wiring??? you may have burnt out the pcm from short .. have a shop verify it for you

yes i check all wires and fuses. The car will start and runs good
its just the check engine lite wont go off
