the car runs fine on the highway but when im in traffic or in town the car wants to die i have to pump the gas really fast to keep it running and most of the time it dies and when it dies when i try to start it i have to pump the gas real fast several times to get it to start up during the process of starting it back up while im pumping it it starts but the motor is bogging down and then it catches back up ive put a new fuel pump and fuel filter on it

If idle issue, clean the throttle body and idle air system. Use a fuel pressure gage and check for correct pressure. Also, check that the pressure will hold for a bit with everything off. If pressure drops like a rock, you have a pressure leak, somewhere. Where applicable, check the pressure regulator vaccum line for gas.
