This one you may have had before. I have replaced the transmission in the car. It seems that the trans will shift from first to second fine. Then, when it comes to go to third it does not shift. The speed goes up to 50 before it shifts to overdrive apparently skipping third gear. It runs fine however and does appear to have the fluids in them properly. Why is it not shifting propberly. I have a 3.8 v 6 engine and standard 4 speed auto transmission.
