Car will not idle after initial start

I have a 97 grand prix when I initially start the car it idles fine upon starting the car again it will not idle. I can only get it to go by putting it in neutral then in gear. After running for a few minutes I do not have the problem until I stop again.

Clean the throttle-body and iac/idle air control. How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?

I just replaced the spark plugs and no applicable trouble codes it runs fine the only issue is the idling.

Idle air control has to do with your idle.
