Why is fuel gauge reading incorrectly?
I just replaced the fuel pump in my car with a AC Delco pump and the guage when we first put it in read well under empty when it had at least 1/4 left, now I put 30 bucks in tank and it never went over half tank.

did you match the float up to the old one to verify it is correc?? otherwise you may have bent the float installing it or the new unit is no good.
