I'M NOT SURE WHAT IS WRONG. HOPEFULLY YOU CAN TELL ME AND HOW TO FIX IT.

The key turned in the acessories position shows power on the dashboard and interior lighting. As soon as the key is turned to the start or on position all power dies. A second turn of the key shows no power at all in any position I can disconnect the positive terminal and reattach it and have power in the acessories position again. I tried jumping it but nothing happened. No cranking or even clicking sounds. I tested the battery and its at a 79% charge.

Battery is slightly weak and the problem seems to be a bad connection. Disconnect battery and clean both terminals. Retighten and retest. Try a jump start if necessary.
