There is no power at all from the truck too crank Therese no lights that come on in the dash, the truck ran out of gas and cranked at first and would not turn over and now it has no electrical at all we changed fuses we have checked the battery the battery cables look ok they are all connected and look well. I am stumped on what else too do

Make sure that both battery terminal clamps are tight (you should not be able to move them by hand), no corrosion, ground connection from the negative battery terminal to the vehicle's body are tight and free of corrosion. Next, check the fusible link (fuse device on a white wire in the under hood fuse box [I believe numbered 7 in the fuse box] on the left side near fender) that it is not blown or open. If that is not the problem I would check the ignition switch because there are no lights coming on the dash when you cycle the key on. Let me know if I answered your question or if you have any other questions. Talk to you soon, Ty
