What is the problem if car doesn't starts?

I tried to start the car with jump cable and it started but when I removed jump cables engine get stopped. Please can you tell what is the problem

Sounds like a bad alternator and or battery. First have the battery charged and tested if the battery is bad get a new one. Do you have a multimeter to see what the voltage is at idle after you get the battery in order?
