Why does my car drive for about a half a mile but then the transmission acts like its in neutral..but if i shut it off for a few minutes it will drive
Why does my car drive for about a half a mile but then the transmission acts like its in neutral..but if i shut it off for a few minutes it will drive again??

Is the Check Engine Light indicating or the O/D ( HOold) light flashing ?
Have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition?
