Jeep Grand Cherokee Speaker Problem

Why wont my rear speakers work when i bypass the amp with the oem stereo deck and aftermarket 6.5 in pioneer speakers the front speakers work though

How did you bypass the amp? Where there four wires on each rear speaker plug?
