will my 1995 jeep grand cherokee rear end fit on my 1997

while it will fit , you will need to check to make sure that the model of the rear axle AND gear ratios are the same. Most popular are dana 35 series for the 6cyc and small v8. but dana 45 are not uncommon. ratios must match to avoid axle or transfer case dammage.
