I have a 1997 J30 with a headlight problem. The passenger side headlight goes out without warning while the driver side stays on. I ran a circuit test when the light was out on the fuse (there was power there) and ran it at the headlight connetion and there was not power. Like to know is there anything in between that could be causing a short.

Check the headlamp relay control unit at left rear corner of engine compartment.

If you open the hood, you should see the relay block at rear left corner. The information provided in our database is not very descriptive and there are no diagrams to show.
