Check engine light is still on after replacing the code for a bad camshaft sensor.

I have a 97 elantra, pulled up code PO343. Replaced the camshaft sensor CEL is still on. Checked the connections, and ECU fuse all good. Replaced crankshaft sensor. Checked timing belt and timing fine as well. The car still has messed up shift points and

first of all, a code number never identifies a bad part just a failed system. there is a lot to this system and the most of the time it is related to the timing belt being worn out from time and mileage and the timing being out enough to throw a code.
