Can I use an alternator from a 1997 Hyundai Accent SOHC on a 1999 Accent SOHC
is the alternator pivot mount on the '97 same as the '99 accent 1.5 SOHC engine

The sohc 1.5L engine for the 1995-1999 accent is the same alternator so the mount should be also.
