1997 Ford Mustang Changed Plugs Wires On 97 Gt Recently Puchased Center

Changed the plugs and wires on my 97 Mustang GT (recently puchased). Center plugs on drivers side were saturated with oil. Also changed the oil filter and noticed the filter looks to be leaking oil. Old and new filter (K&N) look as though oil are leaking from filter. Look above filter and see no evidence of oil residue on engine. Engine is remarkably clean.

the plugs may not be fouled. the tubes may have oil in them from valve cover leaking.

oil filter may have been leaking from the seal. get rid of the K and N and put regular back in. the K and N contains oil in the filter contaminating sensors and causing issues.
