The fan will only work on boost, 1-3 do not work also the heater doesn't get hot when it is on so I was wondering where the switch was located. And also how to check the timing. Is there a somewhere to plug the timer into?

Blower fan resistor will probably be burnt out, I will have to find the exact location as I have never fitted one to an EL, but it will be around the blower motor, and there is no provision for setting the timing, you can only read the live date with a scanner.

If your heater air comes out cold, check out your thermostate it could be jammed open so the car never warms up and heater will be cold (same problem with mine bought one for $20 fitted now my heater is hot).
