Ford F-150 Adapter Problem

I am replacing my heater core on my truck. When I tried to disconnect my core hoses I pulled to hard and broke one and didn't attempt to take the other off until I find a better way of disconnecting it. If I cut or saw the hoses off, How do the
hoses connect to the core. do I need a certain clamp or adapter?

there is a tool to release the clips that hold the hoses on.

dont be so agressive in removing them. they should come off easy without much effort. thank god you are replacing the core itself.
