FORD EXPLORER IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE PROBLEM

1997 Ford Explorer • 180,000 miles

My truck will not stay running. When you crank it, it stalls and dies. It can stay running if I give it gas. My check engine light is not on and I've already replaced the MAF sensor and the fuel filter.

Clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens-let me know

I cleaned my idle air control valve and it half way fixed my problem. My truck will idle now with no problem, thank you. But it still stalls when I put it in drive or reverse.
