Right rear passengers door does not open from the inside, child lock is not on, can hear movement in the linkage but does not operate door unlock device. Opens from the outside. Remote master control for door locks, from drivers side, moves lock indicator arm up and down and you can hear the locking mechanism working. Believe it is a linkage problem but need instructions on how to remove interior door panels to gain access to the linkage; not apparent on how to remove without causing damage.

Merlin, Can I get a copy of those instructions. We have what sounds like a similar issue. No remote control on ours, but using the key in the door, hear the same issue. Thank you!

krebs, there should be 2 screws in the armrest and 1 at the latch handle. There are clips that run around the border of the inner door panel that need to be carefully popped out.
