My idler tensioner pulley went out on my 97 ford escort on the timing belt and when I changed the pulley now the car won't crank. I checked and the car is getting gas and the spark plugs are firing, but it won't turn over. It doesn't make any weird noises.

I replaced my idler tensioner pulley went out so when we changed the pulley the car won't crank now. The only thing we did is take the timing belt off to change the pulley then replaced the pulley and put the timing belt back on. the car will not turn over but it isn't making a weird noise, it just will not turn over.
