Ford Escort Battery Problem

What could be the cause of a battery loosing charge besides a bad battery and alternator? About a couple days ago the battery indicator light did come on. I had the battery and alternator tested and both came back ok. The battery will still not hold a charge. I also had run in with a deer two weeks prior and the driver side headlights were completely destroyed. None of the driver side lights currently works. Could this contribute to the draining of my battery and intereference with the charging of the alternator?

Is it draining while you are driving it or after it has been parked overnight?
