The drive shaft in my nephews 1997 dodge ram 1500 snap last night while he was messing around, and when he tried to get it home it snapped off and took the front part of the transfer case with it. He needs to remove the chain so that it is not in constant.
It has a 318 motor, it is a 4x4, it is a 1997 and the model number for the transfer case is 231D
