I have an earlier question I don't guess you've seen it. I have noticed for about the last month that when first started my 97 Chevy Truck 4. 3 V6 rear wheel drive has been a bit sluggish for a minute then it runs very well. But today on the highway it really started cutting out then finally died. I cranked on it and it started once but when I revved it it died again so I cranked until the battery died. Now it's sitting on the side of the highway. I hope it's not the fuel pump

Sounds like it may be the pump. Check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. 60-66 psi key on engine off
