Have a 97 chevy 1500 5.7L rwd. Having issues with the small wire hookup to the starter that seems to be comming the abs box that's connected to the fuse center. I put a probe to the small wire while ignition was turn to start position and no current came through. So help anybody please, it would be greatly appericated.

Have you checked the fuses? If you have someone toggle the key from start to off do you hear the starter relay clicking?

No click, its just quiet. I check the fuse in the rely center they all r good.

Do you know what and where the "starter relay" is?

Check your voltages at starter

The small wire on the s terminal of starter seloniod is from the ing. Switch on the steering column.
