How do you replace a window regulator for my 1997 chevy cavalier? Two door thanks. The problem is it doesnt move at all my best guess is the motor is shot because the switch is working perfectly for the passenger side. Thanks

Those two switches are independent from each other just because one works doesnt mean the other one has to or is good. If you put your ear to the door with the inop window and move the switch up and down can you hear the motor click? Also do you have a multimeter or a test light so we can do some testing?

See if you have power and ground to the motor when you move the switch to the up and down position if so bad motor.
