just replaced new fuel pump, but my fuel gauge isn't working right, most of the time when gas pedal pressed, the needle goes all the way down to extreme full, all the way

did you do the entire module or just the pump??

it is most likely the sender unit not working correctly.

You need to have the fuel sending unit and wiring checked/tested-start here

the fuel pump comes with the pump and sending unit with it, airtec brand. did some wiring though, the old one got square connector and replaced it with a straight one that comes with the new pump. got purple, gray and two black wires in it,
