Is it possible to put regular shocks on or do they have to be electronic?

1997 Cadillac Seville Front Wheel Drive Automatic 137896 miles. I need new shocks and they are very expensive since they are electronic. Is it possible to put regular shocks on or do they have to be electronic?

The replacements are not electronic anymore, but you will have to have a relay put in your Ride Module or the light will turn on.
