My gears are hard to shift into, especially first and second gear. Downshifting is also very hard and today my car stalled out with my foot on the clutch and when I restarted the car I couldn't get it to shift into first or second, I had to force it into third and once I got it going it was able to get back into first and second again which is still very hard.

If fluid ok sounds like possible pressure plate failure. Does it shift ok/easy when engine is off?

Yea I changed the fluid not too long ago with syncromesh and I checked it again and it seemed fine but added some to be on the safe side. The gears seem to shift fine when the enginge is off.

The clutch seems to be failing. If pedal height is low when gears are engaging, you could have a failing master cylinder.

My biggest concern was yesterday, I put it into reverse and hel it so I can check for cars before I backed out of my driveway and all of a sudden I feel some sort of a cluck and my car started to go in reverse on its own with my clutxh all the way in. (Keep in my my driveway is on even pavement so no I didnt roll down.) If it is the clutch what is it more likely to be? The master cylinder or the pressure plate?

Sorta sounds like hydraulic slippage based on your recent experience? No way to be sure without inspecting.

Yes, should be a hydraulic fault. If the fluid level is constant, it would more likely to be the master cylinder.
