Acura CL Compression Problem
I have this car and it overheated and then made a clanking noise and cut off it has not restarted since. any ideas. also my idling was going up and down on it 's own and only when car cold

The overheating has most probably blown the head gasket. Have a compression test done.
The erratic idling can be due to low coolant level causing the Cold Start Thermal valve to remain open and allowing more air into the intake manifold. this would in crease the idling speed and result in the engine surging.
