The code indicates catalyst system efficiency below threshold Bank (1) any idea on how to correct?

More than likely this issue is due to a failed converter, but we need to run through some testing to confirm this because there is a chance that you have an o2 sensor issue.

Here is a video that will help with doing this testing and replace the converter if it proves to be the issue:
