Have a 1996 vw jetta gls and ran fine earlier but all of a sudden won't run hardly at all. It will start up fine one sec and the next you can hold throttle wide open and runs like a Harley.. we have checked that car has gas and fuel getting up to injector

Would like to know if you have any other ideas or is the cam sensor the problem?

You need to check fuel pump pressure and check to make sure you are getting a good spark to the plugs.
