Can you help me pass a smog check?
Went to get my car smog checked, but it didn't pass. They guy doing the service was kind of a jerk and wouldn't really explain why it didn't pass. Can you let me know what usually causes a car to fail a smog check and how to fix it? I live in Los Angeles, CA in case that plays any factor in smog regulations. Thank you in advance.

In your description of your question you gave me just as much info as the smog guy lol.I need to know why you failed?You could have failed for the check engine light being on?Or too high of emission of hcs or co's at 15mph or 25mph?I need more info to help answer your question look at your paper work from the smog place.
