runs for 20 minutes then stalls

I have a 1996 saturn sl1 5 speed 4 cylinder 1.9 liter when it starts it will run for up to 20 min. befor it will shut down. The time it takes to shut down also depends on how frequently the vehicial is slowed and accelerated. The time for vehical to shut down again after the first shut down, becomes shorter each time. And the wait for it to start becomes longer each time. There is no overheating.

Check fuel pump pressure and check fuel pressure drop off.

-Scan the computer for code/s and also check the fuel pressure with a gauge if its within specs-start here

Just to add to this one doesnt sound like a fuel pump issue.Sounds more like your loosing spark ethier a ignition module or crank shaft position sensor.On that year saturn more likely the ignition module.Next time it does start see if you have spark?Also do you have a mulimeter to do some testing?
