Motor swap from 94 to a 96

I have a 1997 saturn sc1 with the SOHC w/ fuel injection. The head is craked in it. I found a 94 saturn, think it's an sc1, with the DOHC motor. I'm thinking of doing an engine swop will this work? Will the 94 DOHC mach-up with my trany?

The engine should match with the trans, but we only recommend direct fit parts because things like sensors, mounts... are can change and create prpblems.

That's just not going to work. The operating systems are totally different for 2 reasons. One is the SOHC vs the DOHC and the other is that the 97 is OBD2 compliant and the 94 is not.
