Bought car for cheap. Finished repairs myself. Still a awkward sound

I randomly one day bought a 1996 pontiac sunfire just so i could fix it up and get it on the road for a little while. I managed to finish all the repairs and replace all the parts needed but there is still a "Metal on metal" kind of sound when the car is idling and even when i accelerate. Im not too worried about this but when its humid outside it gets pretty loud and is quite annoying. Would anyone be able to help me out here?
